Early start as heavy rain is forecast from about 2pm, its been predicted all week, tracking up from the south of Germany and a cloudy start indeed but the rain started at bout 8.30! A short shower nothing much, cycling ok got bit lost though at one point and had to walk through a sand track in a forest clearing being worked and felled of timber, not nice stuff to plough through, got back onto a road and then a fairly straightforward cycle all the way and crossed into Denmark, then on into Tonder my stop for tonight. A sleepy town closed from 2pm on a Saturday until Monday day (as I later discovered is all Denmark) so not much happening! Had a walk around and a few pictures of various buildings, and a statue of a chap in 17th century frock coat holding a whip, must find out what that's about at some point. My new roommate for tonight in the picture. An early start tomorrow for a longer day again, but 6 of 11 days done now. The raining and wind duely arrived at 4pm and it's pouring down now so it was worth the race to keep dry.
